Improving Customer Service through New Technology:
We are proud of our heritage but we have the ability to evolve and we look constantly to improve customer service in any way we can. We have invested heavily in IT systems and all vehicles have GPS-based locating units that have greatly improved our cost and time efficiencies. This is particularly useful during emergency call-outs because we can quickly and accurately identify the nearest operative with the required skills.
PDAs (Personal Digital Assistant) have been in use for a number of years and our database is updated to meet changing needs - enabling instant paperless communication. This facilitates effective job tracking, makes accurate information readily available to our operatives in the field and enables us to be more precise with appointment times for tenants. In a similar vein, our use of Opti-time scheduling and appointment software helps us to maintain our excellent rapid response performance whilst making us even more efficient in allocating skill sets and reducing the need for travel. This increases performance on any given contract and makes appreciable cost savings, which are routinely shared with customers. Each year worthy causes are chosen to receive a charitable donation.
