BHE Services have had a very auspicious year. 2011 has been generous in giving BHE the opportunities to attend to customer’s needs and expectations.
Throughout the year we have supported many charities such as Red Nose Day, Comic Relief, Help For Heroes, Tickled Pink and Children In Need. By taking part we came in our own casual clothes and paid a small price for the privilege.
2011 saw the launch of our new website, social media networks and billboard advertising . By joining Facebook and Twitter we have now been able to reach out to our customers in different ways. Always happy to help, we are able to answer queries over the phone, via email or by a simple comment or Tweet. This year has also seen seven of our apprentices complete their NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing.
Our Renewable Energies division, led by Project Manager Daniel Silcock, was launched in February . Daniel has installed many PV systems along with other renewable technologies such as Air and Ground Source Heat Pumps and Wind Turbines. BHE are proud to be environmentally friendly and have also made it our mission to replace as many uneconomical boilers with more economical ones.
BHE celebrated it’s 40th year anniversary at the end of April. To mark the occasion we bought our very own renewables ‘smart van.’ We also held an ‘Open Day’ where different contractors paid us a visit, along with Yasmin Qureshi MP for Bolton South East.
In September we attended a Renewables Roadshow at the Reebok Stadium in Horwich, Bolton. We saw this as an opportunity to liase with other Renewable Energy companies, learning more about their products and what they had to offer. A great chance for social networking and sharing our enthusiasm with others on helping to preserve the environment.
In October the announcement of the reduced Feed-In Tariff (FIT) for Solar PV was made . This announcement sent the world of renewables into turmoil resulting in a shortage of stock supplies and an increase in clients wanting PV fitted before the deadline. However, with excellent communication and organisational skills BHE Services managed successfully to pull through this unprecedented busy period.
To summarise, 2011 has been an excellent year for business and networking . With satisfied customers and hard working staff BHE can’t wait to move into 2012 to see what other challenges and opportunities are looming on the horizon.
BHE are now looking forward to the future and too see what 2012 holds for us.
