For many of our clients Gas Servicing is a legal obligation, a task which takes place within every 12 month period. At BHE Services, ‘Gas Safety – Our Priority’ is the adopted motto. It is an assurance that we maintain the highest standards in terms of safety whilst offering the most cost effective solution. The costs associated with annual Gas Servicing reduce as a result of regular programmed maintenance.

Indeed, the overall maintenance costs attributed to heating and hot water installations are reduced. For example, the cost of making an installation compliant as a result of faults found during an annual service is reduced. The need for replacement parts is reduced as regular maintenance prolongs the life of installation.

The need to react to ‘breakdowns’ is reduced which reduces inconvenience and disturbance for the customer and the associated impact on KPI statistics and the landlord’s reputation. 

On-going, programmed Maintenance makes a significant contribution towards gas safety, a hypothesis which is shared by all responsible landlords.


Planned Maintenance –Service Delivery:

With a wealth of experience in Planned Maintenance projects, BHE Services are well placed to deliver planned and programmed works under a variety of procurement guises. However, BHE Services specialise in Partnering agreements in line with ‘Egan’ principles. This has provided scope to offer more than just a straight forward programme of installations, it allows for a collaborative way of working which has been proven time and again to raise resident satisfaction whilst reducing overall costs and timescales.

BHE Services can offer the following with regard to planned maintenance works:

Reactive Maintenance –Service Delivery:

In addition to reactive day to day maintenance, BHE Services (Bolton) Ltd adopts the ‘4th emergency service’ approach when dealing with out of hour emergency responses. A minimum of three operatives per trade discipline provides cover on a rota basis with an undertaking to respond to all calls within two hours. The organisation has inadvertently discovered that out of hour provision has become a huge strength and therefore the envy of our competitors. KPI statistics provide firm evidence of consistently excellent performance with regard to ‘first time fix’ and responsiveness.

BHE Services offer the following with regard to reactive maintenance works:

• Voids work from ‘turn on and test’ to full refurbishments.
